MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY CAR PARK
Built for client Manchester University this 1000 space car park is the first stage of a major redevelopment programme to be undertaken by the University following the amalgamation with its neighbour UMIST. The car park will now free up land previously used for open spaced ground parking, for use in its development programme. The precast concrete frame has been tastefully clad in blue terracotta with a pointed joint and white acid etched concrete with Spanish Dolomite fines. A metallic silver louvre completes the elevational treatment.
