Manchester Transport Interchange
Completed in 2006 the Manchester Transport Interchange for Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) provides a central station for buses and Manchester's Metro-Link.
Close to the heart of the city positioned above the main bus terminal is a multi-storey car park providing some 700 spaces on eight suspended levels. With its faceted glass facade, this striking building devised by concept architect Ian Simpson provides a dramatic landmark building on the edge of the city's Northern Quarter.

S.C.C. Limited as principal contractor produced, manufactured and erected more than 2500 bespoke precast concrete units for the project, including all cast-in items for the external facade.
